Alberta on the Plate — From Our Kitchen to Your Table

We are proud to be part of Alberta on the Plate, a province-wide celebration of everything this land grows, raises, and creates. Throughout the year, we partner with local farmers, ranchers, distillers, and brewers to bring the best of Alberta directly to your plate.

From Friday, August 7– Sunday, August 16, join us for our Alberta on the Plate three-course menu for $72— a special celebration of the remarkable producers behind your meal. Each course is built around ingredients sourced right here in Alberta, because we believe the best flavours come from the land we share.

When you dine with us during the festival (and every time you visit year-round), you are supporting Alberta producers, strengthening our local food community, and helping keep this province's food story alive. Thank you for sitting at our table.

An Evening in Burgundy

Domaine Devillard Wine Dinner at The Marc

On Wednesday, October 21st, The Marc invites you to step away from the ordinary and into the golden vineyards of Burgundy for an evening built around one of France’s most storied wine-producing families.

We are honoured to host Arnaud Trouvé, Export Manager for Domaine Devillard, who will guide guests through five exceptional wines — including a rare Premier Cru — each one poured with the stories and philosophy of the estate behind it.

The Menu

Executive Chef Karl has designed a five-course menu that speaks the same language as the wines: restraint, precision, and deep flavour. The evening opens with Ravioles De Royans Aux Truffles paired with a bright Mercurey Blanc, moves through an Époisse Cheese Tart and a seared Duck Breast, and builds to the crescendo — Beef Cheek Bourguignon alongside two expressions of Nuits-Saint-Georges, including the 1er Cru Terres Blanches. A Nonnettes Style Opera Cake closes the night on a gracefully sweet note.

The Wines

Domaine Devillard’s holdings span some of Burgundy’s most coveted terroirs. Over the course of the dinner, Arnaud will pour the Château Chamirey Mercurey Blanc and Rouge, the Domaine Des Perdrix Vosne-Romanée, and two distinct Nuits-Saint-Georges — the village cuvée and the structured, age-worthy 1er Cru Terres Blanches. For guests who fall in love with a bottle, wines will be available for purchase after dinner to take home.
